What is VR?
The key element of virtual reality (“VR”) is the immersive, interactive experience that simulates being in another fully three-dimensional environment.
VR also includes VR video viewed on mobile phones and headsets.
What even is AR?
AR apps make content appear to be in the real world using your phone.
AR (augmented reality) is the technology that overlays digital information and virtual objects onto the real world through a device’s camera or screen.
What is XR?
“XR” stands for “extended reality” and it’s a catch-all term meaning virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and any other tech crossing that gap between the physical and digital worlds.
How it Works: Viewing Cards
Example:
Look at business card AR:
1) Launch the App
The starting Screen features a scanner that reads QR codes and text through the iPhone camera.
2) Look at the Card
Printed text or a QR code on the card opens the AR experience for that card in the View AR screen.
3) WOW, COOL!
WHOA COOL! The card really comes alive with video, audio, 3D graphics, VR video, AR buttons and more. Super simple.

Example:
Boost your business card with AR video:
1) Provide Image
Open EZ-Scan in the Image tab and hold it up to your business card. EZ-Scan auto-crops and straightens using AI.
2) Choose Video
Select the video you want to display on your business card from your phone’s photos app
3) Enter your Trigger Text
Anyone with your business card can scan the contact info to instantly open your card’s unique AR experience.
